Founded in the wake of Hurricane’s Rita & Katrina in 2005, Cardinal Culinary Services was created to address the unique challenges of offshore and remote hospitality operations. From its inception, the company has prioritized delivering first-class services that improve employee retention and client satisfaction within a demanding industry.
Cardinal is led by founders Mike and Patrick Robinson, seasoned experts in food service and hospitality who bring deep industry knowledge and a passion for excellence. Mike brings 30 years of expertise, including formal education in hotel and restaurant management, culinary school training, and an internship under esteemed French chefs Albert and Michel Roux—renowned mentors of Gordon Ramsay. He also played a pivotal role on the opening team of Tilman Fertitta’s first Aquarium restaurant concept. Patrick has 25 years of industry experience and holds a degree in Club and Resort Management, together forming a leadership team committed to operational excellence.
