MLC2006 Certified

Starting on the 20th of August 2013 the Maritime Labor Convention of 2006 went into effect. All vessels above 500BT sailing under the Flag of a country that has ratified the convention must be certified accordingly.

Flag States that decide not to ratify the convention, still need to comply with the MLC2006 requirements whenever their ships enter the waters of a country that has ratified the convention.

Cardinal Culinary Services has received our MLC2006 Statement of Compliance from Lloyds Registry in early August of 2013. Cardinal’s operations on each vessel are specific to each flag state’s requirements along with customer-specific trainings.

Below is a breakdown of what Cardinal provides, verifies and adheres to per MLC2006 regulations.
